Path with pool – 2006

The intervention is located in the Empordà area, where the vast extension of farmland, sprinkled by groups of trees determines a landscape of geometric patterns rich in textures and colors.
The project acts in a plane garden inserted into the geometry of the fields and articulates different aspects of the program which allows independent operation of each part of the program while reducing the impact on the beautiful place.
The volumetric intervention is hidden underground while a walkway and ramp circuit created on surface evoke the image of the paths and meandering rivers in the landscape. The complex achieves visually overcome the discrepancy in height between levels by placing a large plain of water that marks the horizon line maximizing the views of the environment.
